Gone are those Days
When Mom tied the lace of my shoes
Gone are the Ways
When they were Simple , Straight and Right
Gone are those Days
When Mom would make me Sleep And Sing Lullaby
Gone are the Times
When Virtues and Morals Ruled the Lives

That last gone makes me feel sad. Virtues and morals still rule some people's lives, sadly it seems to be a disappearing quality in our culture as a whole.
